These Terms govern the rights, obligations and responsibilities between Won. Studio Korea (the “Company”) and users regarding the use of wonstudio.net (the “Service”) operated by the Company.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to set out the basic matters concerning the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and users, as well as the conditions and procedures for use of the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” means the wonstudio.net website and its subpages operated by the Company, including inquiry intake, brand distribution and crowdfunding information, IT service introductions, first-party app information and any other online services provided by the Company.
- “User” means any person who uses the Service under these Terms.
- “Partner” means any individual or legal entity that has entered into, or intends to enter into, a contract with the Company regarding brand distribution, crowdfunding, IT services or the like.
Article 3 (Effect and amendment of the Terms)
These Terms take effect once posted on the Service. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law, and shall announce any amendment in advance, specifying the effective date and reason. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service.
Article 4 (Provision of the Service)
- The Company provides content such as brand distribution and crowdfunding information, IT service introductions and first-party app information.
- The Company receives and responds to inquiries and partnership applications from users.
- The Service is provided on a continuous basis, but may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, malfunctions, force majeure or similar reasons.
- The Company may change or discontinue part of the Service, and shall announce material changes in advance.
Article 5 (Partner contracts and paid services)
Specific terms for brand distribution, crowdfunding, IT services and similar arrangements between the Company and a Partner (including fees, payment methods, schedules and scope of responsibility) are governed by separate individual contracts, and these Terms apply complementarily to such contracts. In the event of a conflict between an individual contract and these Terms, the individual contract shall prevail.
Article 6 (Cancellation and refunds)
Where the Company provides paid goods or services directly through the website, refunds are governed by applicable law (including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) and by individual contracts. Withdrawal of subscription may be restricted, within the scope permitted by applicable law, for digital content that has already been provided, or for services for which performance has commenced under a contract.
Article 7 (Obligations of users)
- Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms and the Service usage guidance.
- Users must not use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others (including copyrights, trademarks and likeness rights).
- Users must not use the Service for illegal, obscene, discriminatory, hateful or otherwise unlawful or improper purposes.
- Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service or make unauthorized access to its systems.
Article 8 (Content and intellectual property)
- Intellectual property rights in the content on the Service (including text, images, videos, designs and trademarks) belong to the Company or to the rightful owner.
- Users may not copy, transmit, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially use the content on the Service without the Company’s prior consent.
Article 9 (Limitation of liability)
- Information posted on the Service is provided for reference purposes, and the Company does not warrant its accuracy, completeness or commercial fitness.
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure, causes attributable to the user, or malfunctions of third-party services (including payment and infrastructure providers).
- The Company bears liability only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Article 10 (Governing law and dispute resolution)
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith consultation between the Company and the user. Where consultation fails, the dispute may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
